If there is one thing I dislike it's going to someone's blog page and seeing the same old post there time and time again. GUILTY I know
So this is a random post about the little things I have been doing for the past month or so.
This past summer we traveled to B.C and took in all the the sights and tastes that it had to offer. We visited a winery, farmer's markets relaxed. It was a great vacation. We had other reasons for going, we are wanting to relocate and we've always wanted to see the Shuswap area, and it didn't disappoint.
Work on the house seems to be ongoing. We have done a lot on this house, new backyard, new furnace, new air conditioner, new water softener, new paint job, fixed concrete retaining wall. With all this we thought we had made a dent in the 'to do' list around here, it definitely made a dent in our bank account.
The other day I went downstairs to change laundry loads and the laundry room was full of water. After looking high and low I found out that the water heater was leaking. AUGH!!! another expense and sure enough it had to be replaced. If this wasn't bad enough a few days later my washing machine quits and has started leaking motor oil on my clothes..... ( Calgon take me away...)
Anway enough of that, it's giving me heart palpitations just looking at the list.
Let's continue shall we???
We never thought we would be staying on our little village longer then the contract demanded. So we made the tough call and told the head of the company that we would indeed want to leave when the contract comes due. So we have a rough date as to when we will be leaving. I am looking forward to that day, living here was pretty tough on us as a family, the scary part is knowing we have to leave by a certain point and we don't know where we are going to go. So many decisions to make..
Anyway that is a bit of what has been going on here.

I sure have missed you, Jody. Figured you were just busy with your baby girl. Sorry to hear about the non-fun house projects. And it's hard living in limbo. Wishing you some peace.
Cocotte- thanks girl.. you always brighten my day with your comments.
Good to see you back in blogland, JJ.
And the washer dying was bad enough, the fact that it had to smear motor oil on clothing is just CRUEL. Go give it a sharp kick in the agitator.
Praying that you guys find a good place soon.
come on girl....I was wondering if you fell off the blog bandwagon!
